Manuary Monday, Part 1

At this point, most people are familiar with No-Shave-November, or its alternate title, Mo-vember, where guys annoy their wives/girlfriends and refuse to shave their upper lips for a month. Mo-vember is then followed by Decem-beard, where gentlemen are encouraged to finish off their facial hair by growing in their beards. Naturally, if a man participated in No-Shave-November rather than Mo-vember, then the following month is Don’t-Shave-December.

Regardless, the following month is most appropriately called “Man-uary.” Yes, the first month fo the year, when men all over the country try to grow as much facial hair as possible. Man-uary, when I will be growing in my beard and mustache.

I stopped shaving my face on Christmas Eve, and so this picture is from January 1st, the official start of Manuary, and my 31 days without shaving. (I actually won’t shave until February, but that for the Blonde to be annoyed about.)

Please, ignore how hideous I look in these pics. It’s about the beard. (Or lack thereof. . .)

This picture is from the first Monday of Manuary, and I swear, I have neither shaved nor trimmed. You can see that my facial hair grows really, really slowly. . .
